The Manhattan Project

An interesting site for students, which was designed as a class project. The page provides a photo of the major scientists involved in the project and a table of contents. "The Story" gives a short description of the project with hyperlinks to certain concepts and people. Who's Who includes biographies of the major scientists involved (Neils Bohr, Robert Oppenheimer, Richard Feynman, Enrico Fermi, and Joseph Carter). E=mc2 is a page devoted to a visual and textual presentation of how the bomb works. When the visitor has finished, he or she can visit a quiz page and take a ten-question multiple choice test on what has been learned. Et Cetera completes the site with a list of related links.
