Empires Beyond the Great Wall

This Web site is the on-line version of an exhibit of more than two hundred artifacts from the steppes of Inner Mongolia. The site is handsomely presented but unfortunately lacks depth. There is a brief biography of Genghis Khan, a brief article on the culture, and descriptions of some of the artifacts (no images). This site has more general interest appeal than research value.
