FDR Cartoon Archive

This award-winning Web site was an interdisciplinary project between an AP U.S. History class and an AP Computer Math class at Niskayuna High School. The project involves cataloging and preserving the O'Conor Collection, which consists largely of newspaper clippings and approximately 30,000 political cartoons featuring President Franklin D. Roosevelt and the activities of his administration from 1932-1943. The searchable site describes how the project was planned and acted upon and includes information about the cartoons' collector. There are teacher resources, links to other Roosevelt sites, and a guide to searching.
