Discoverer's Web

This is a plain but very comprehensive Web site that gathers as much information as possible from the Web about voyages of discovery and exploration. Filled with accounts of the famous explorations of men such as John Cabot, Hernando Cortes, and Daniel Boone, the site is loosely organized alphabetically and by continent. Its collection of biographies and pictures is especially thorough, and its sections on explorers who died during their voyages and on the exploration of the Americas pre-Columbus are both fascinating.
