D-Day 1944

While this site is interesting and informative, it has not taken advantage of the possibilities that exist for an on-line display of information. The only images in the entire site are two charts. The site is a narrative, divided into short chapters that explore the role air power played in the Normandy invasion and discuss military planning, logistics, and operations. Good source of facts, but no bells and whistles.
