China Education and Research Project

This project was started in December 1993 as the first nationwide education and research network in China, as well as one of China's first Internet links to the outside world. The site has four sections of interest to high school students. People's Republic of China includes background information on all of China's provinces. Education and Research has links to colleges and universities, libraries, research institutes, and even high schools. Culture and Entertainment contains information about food and holidays, and links to poetry and the arts. News and Publications includes headline news and links to magazines and newspapers. The site can be viewed in English or Chinese.
