The Carter Center

The Carter Center, a nonpartisan public policy institute, was founded by President and Mrs. Carter in 1982. The searchable Web site consists of a welcome by Jimmy Carter; descriptions of the national and international programs it supports; The Carter Center News, a semi-annual magazine; and a collection of reports and speeches by President Carter and other experts on the staff. The Carter Center News includes an archive of past issues, and the reports and speeches section includes op-eds and press releases. Many valuable links to other sources can also be found here.
