The American History Archives

Constructed and researched by fifth graders, the American History Archive Project is an ambitious Web page that focuses primarily on the American Revolution and the Civil War. The site has links to several historical documents, video and sound archives, detailed maps of many of the battles, and a set of excellent links taking you to other resources on the Web such as the American Memory site at the Smithsonian. The site is fully searchable and can also be viewed via a timeline or a hypertext information Web.
