A-Bomb WWW Museum

The twin goals of this site are to provide visitors with accurate information regarding the bombing of Hiroshima and to stimulate debate on the lessons of the event. The page begins with a statement to Japanese who are visiting the site. The organizers provide introductory material on the bomb plus interviews with those who survived, including those who were children in 1945, citizens of the city today, and children of survivors. Messages from the mayors of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and on-line visitors to the site provide added perspective. A virtual tour of the Peace Park and Peace Memorial Museum, a link to the Nagasaki page, and other related sites complete the presentation.
