Sharing Aeronautics Projects Electronically SHAPE
This site seeks to "motivate and inspire students, K-12, to pursue technical careers" by focusing on the applications of science to aeronautics. You'll learn all you need to know about glider construction, navigation, and emergency procedures. Maps, plans, and charts are all available at this site. Check out the glider virtual museum and the instructions for making a paper glider model. The student contributions offer experiments and reports on aeronautics; topics included are friction, convection currents, airflow, and the life of a wing.
