This Web site is part of "The Virtual Hospital Web Site" sponsored by the University of Utah School of Medicine. Designed to familiarize beginning med students with a history of medicine, the page is easy to follow and very comprehensive. This site could just as easily be used as a resource for history, science, biography, and cultural research as it could for its intended purpose. The site follows man's dabbling in the medical arts from prehistory all the way to the modern day, focusing on the people, inventions, and discoveries that created the medicine we know today.
