Classifying Galaxies

This lesson teaches you how to classify galaxies by the Hubble System of Classification. You will learn to identify the spiral, elliptical, and barred-spiral galaxies using the tuning fork diagram. This site also has links to Hubble Telescope images and other astronomy sites.
