Cancer Genome Anatomy Project (CGAP)

This site makes data and materials available to the cancer research community. While some of the material is highly technical, you can read about the overall research plan and methodology. A discussion of cancer, genes, and cells gives a good overview of cancer growth and development. There are libraries that contain images, comparisons, and brief discussions of normal, precancerous, and cancerous cells for over ten areas of the human body.
