Voltaire Foundation

Among the various elements that make up this site, there are four areas to check. First, under Varia, one can read a biography of Voltaire, the French philosopher of the Enlightenment period, and read related documents. At present, the area called Textes offers only a small selection of documents (including an English translation of Candide). Projets contains a series of scholarly articles. In Renvois there is a link to Le théâtre de la foire à Paris, which also contains a short text selection. Under ECRLINF! you'll find a complete bibliography of Voltaire's works.
