It flags common mistakes, accents, elisions, some agreements (adjectives), hyphens, and empirical rules governing the positioning of a noun as well the beginnings and the endings of nouns. This site is linked to another page by the same authors that provides French dictées, which have been used in competitions for native speakers. Most of these, therefore, are too difficult and tricky for most non-native students of French.
