Project Bartleby
Project Bartleby provides the full text of more than twenty-five classics (ranging from Chapman's translation of the Odyssey to W. E. B. Du Bois's The Souls of Black Folks. What makes this site unusual is that all are recreated to the highest standards of scholarly fidelity to the original editions using professional editorial standards in the scanning, data entry, spell-checking, proofreading, and markup protocols. The site also includes several reference works such as the Inaugural Addresses of U.S. Presidents, Bartlett's Quotations (1901 edition), and William Strunk's original Elements of Style (1918). Poets are particularly well represented by the works of John Keats, Percy Bysshe Shelley, William Wordsworth, Walt Whitman, William Butler Yeats, Robert Frost, Edna St. Vincent Millay, and Oscar Wilde.
