Three links at the bottom of the page take you to hypertext versions of books by William Burroughs, Timothy Leary, Jack Kerouac, among others. You click on an icon and get a paragraph or two of a story with a few words hyperlinked. Click on a word, and rather than getting a definition, you get more of the story. In other words, in this introduction to hypertext publishing, you create your own storyline. There are also links to related sites, background information about the sponsor, awards, and such.
