Writing Argumentative Essays

This resource site helps you improve your ability to write argumentative essays. When you enter the site, you are greeted with a long list of linked sites that will take you step by step through the process of writing your own essay. Each linked site has an introductory paragraph that, for example, explains using connectives or transitions. (This program was designed for students in Canada so the terminology is slightly different.) Then, you can do exercises to test your understanding. As you proceed through the program, you get a very good idea of how to argue your point.
