American Drama
This site publishes abstracts of scholarly articles from American Drama magazine and interviews with living playwrights two months after the most recent issue of the magazine. The articles critically examine trends and discussions of diversity in scripts for stage, film, radio, and television; the careers of dramatists; and various theories of the development of drama from the earliest to the most recent playwrights. Among those featured interviews are such notables as Arthur Miller and August Wilson. Follow hyperlinks to abstracts of the articles listed in the table of contents from the most recent issue or a cumulative index. Also, off-site aids for writers and information about theater are available in a separate link.
