Thank you for your purchase.

The MPC Wizard is the largest collection of Windows(tm) 3.1 drivers
on a single disc.  This disc was produced to help millions of 
Windows owners locate and install their VGA and sound drivers, especially
when upgrading from 3.0 to 3.1.

Please take note of the following:


The drivers on this disk were the latest ones provided by board
manufacturers when this disk was produced. The rights to the programs on
this disc are owned by their respective manufacturers and are provided
"AS IS" exclusively for their customers. They may not be redistributed
in any form (including on a BBS) without the express written permission of
the manufacturer. Aris Entertainment will supply technical support for
"The Best of Media Clips" program included on this disc. However, drivers
are provided by Aris Entertainment as a public service. If you encounter
any problems with them, please contact the specific manufacturer. Aris
Entertainment disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including
merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

We have attempted to make the installation process as painless
as possible, but not every driver is installed the same way. Always try
installing them through the MPC Wizard. All drivers for video and audio
cards are located in the \WIZSETUP directory of the CD.

Several manufacturers have requested that we include demos or utilities
with their drivers. They can be found in their respective subdirectories in
the \WIZSETUP directory.

Users of Quarterdeck's QEMM or other expanded memory managers who are
installing new video drivers may need to add an EXCLUDE switch to the line
that loads the program in their AUTOEXEC.BAT. See your memory manager's
documentation for details.

If necessary, see your "Windows User's Guide" for more information on
installing drivers not supplied with Windows. Windows 3.1 users installing
video drivers can also check the section "Using Specific Display Adapters
with Windows Version 3.1" in the file README.WRI, located in the Windows
directory.

Many of the README text files in subdirectories of the \WIZSETUP directory
were written by driver manufacturers, and may refer to the format in which
their drivers were originally distributed (i.e., "floppy disk #1"). In most
cases, substitute the path of the subdirectory the README file is located in
for the floppy disk drive letter. But first try installing the driver by
going through the MPC Wizard.

The MPC Wizard will be regularly improved and updated. If there are other
drivers you would like to see included, please contact Aris Entertainment.
If you are interested in receiving updates of the MPC Wizard, please
fill out and send in your registration card.
