Sugita Aya, Sana's best friend from school. Aya along with the rest of the girls of the classroom turned to Sana when she confronted Hayama and has been closest to Sana ever since. Throughout the series, Aya start feelings sorry for Ohki Tsuyoshi and becomes concerned for him when she learns that Tsuyoshi's parents are getting divorced. By episode 15, Aya admits to Sana, and the rest of the class, her feelings for Tsuyoshi.
