In this series of four special missions, you will join Captain Sulu in the Klingon Neutral Zone in a story that will combine combat with diplomacy and guile.

In order to play the missions, you'll need to copy them into your game's Assets/Scripts folder. In the location on your hard drive where you installed the game you'll see a folder called "Assets", and inside that folder is another folder named "Scripts".

You can use Windows Explorer or My Computer to copy and paste the four script files to that location; or you can right-click on the links below and select "Save target as...", then browse to the game's Assets/Scripts folder. You'll need to do that four times (right-clicking on each mission below just once).

Chapter 1: The Road

Chapter 2: Unto the Breach

Chapter 3: Vengeance

Chapter 4: End Game

Once you've installed these scripts you can play the missions by starting Starfleet Command: Volume II. When the game's loaded, select "Single Player" and then select "Skirmish". The Sulu missions will appear in the list of available missions.

Remember that they make up a storyline - you'll want to play them in order!

Because this disc has been mastered before the final version of the game, there's a chance that you'll need to visit the SFC II website to download an update for the Bonus Missions once they're installed.

Click here to choose from a menu of MP3 files made from the soundtrack to the original Starfleet Command game.

In order to hear the music, you will need an MP3 player configured on your computer. This is often the Windows Media Player, but you may have installed a third party player like WinAmp.

This directory on the Bonus disc has over 200 alternate takes, out-takes, and, well, even we aren't sure what else, that were not used for the crew voices and taunts in SFC II. By clicking on the link you can browse through them and see what you like.

We've included these mainly for your amusement. If you should want to use these sounds within the game you'll need to do something fairly complicated. The very first thing you should do is to make backup copies of two files in Assets\Sound: SFCVoice.zip and sounds.txt. Copy these somewhere where they'll be safe.

Next, you can see by looking at sounds.txt that every "event" that supports sound is associated with a WAV file that's contained in SFCVoice.zip. The file must be in that zip file, and the zip file must be saved in uncompressed zip format. You can add your desired WAV file to the zip archive, then edit sounds.txt to associate the event with the name of the sound you've chosen. If anything goes wrong, copy your original SFCVoice.zip and sounds.txt back over the modified ones.

Here are the Mirak and ISC Homeworld, Frontier, and Colony pictures that you see at the start of a campaign. They're presented in several sizes as BMP files so that you can use them as desktop wallpaper.

To copy one of these to your hard drive, right click on its name (1280 x 1024 and so on) and select "Save target as...". Then browse to the location where you want to store the backdrop image (Windows generally expects these to be in C:\Windows, but you can put them wherever you like).

Go to the Windows desktop and right click on that. Select "Properties"and Browse to the place where you've saved the SFC II BMP file. Select it there and click "OK" to set it as your backdrop. Note that Windows versions vary, so you may need to select the walpaper differently depending on your version of Windows.

You can see the current issue here.

On this disc we've archived the first five issues of Hailing Frequencies in PDF format. In order to rea them you will need to have the Adobe Acrobat Reader plug-in installed for your browser; odds are you have it already, but in case you need to download it, get it here. It may be necessary for you to close your browser during the installation.

In the course of making ship models and other art for the game our arists have had to create sketches and final renderings of their work for purposes of review. We're including many of these images on this Bonus Disc. You'll get a chance to see the progression of these designs from paper to polygons.

When you click below, you'll find yourself on a page that contains all of the concept art. One of the advantages to getting this disc is that you don't need to wait for the images to download - no thumbnails!

Paramount Pictures has decided to share a large collection of images from their Star Trek archives. Click here to see them all. There are stills from the original series and from the first few motion pictures.

These images are all presented at a resoultion of 640 by 480 pixels - not as large as our desktop wallpapers, but still big enough to use on your desktop if you like. BMP versions of these images are stored on this disc in the folder named "Star Trek movie slides".

You can use Windows Explorer or My Computer to copy the images from there and paste them onto your hard drive. Follow the instructions for our wallpaper images above if you don't know how to use these on your desktop.
