Educator Programmes

These Programmes are designed to increase the awareness of international participants about Africa, culture, South Africa. At the same time the cross-pollination and sharing of ideas, the exposure to other educators facilitates growth and competence.

Short Term Study Tours involve teachers / community educators / Youth Workers coming to South Africa for four weeks, learning about South Africa, and spending time exchanging resources in schools and community organisations.

Guest Teacher Exchange Programmes involve teachers spending a year based in another country, teaching in schools in that country. They teach about South Africa, and gain experience from teaching in different types of schools. We currently have one teacher in Ireland, and three in Denmark.

Community Educator Exchange Programme involves a Community Educator spending five months sharing experiences in another country.
