For over 40,000 years, music, song, dance, storytelling & the playing of musical instruments has played a very important role in all aspects of Aboriginal life. (both sacred & non sacred) Aboriginal cultural performances (known generically as corroborees) are dramatic representations, in mime and song, of the history of individual tribes or family groups . These performances have many functions, and take many forms as you will discover in our evening of Aboriginal entertainment. 
There were many non-secret rituals performed in the camps at night, before an enthusiastic audience of men, women & children. A group of adult men, seated around a small fire, would chant one or another of the ancient songs, while others, their bodies decorated with strange symbols would portray, in a series of spectacular dances, the legends of the Dreamtime. Our contemporary Aboriginal performance RED CENTRE DREAMING will honour our ancestors by creating an interactive evening of unique entertainment and dining that can be enjoyed & shared by everyone. |

FOOD Each night, our gourmet chefs from the Red Centre Resort will prepare unique Australian dishes such as kangaroo & Barramundi, depending upon the season.

in the price is a quality bottle of Australian wine per couple. Soft
drinks are complimentary Beer, mixed spirits, port at bar prices.
