History

And now...

The band's activity is suspended once again, but Bon Jovi members work all the time. The most active seems Jon as he took parts in films Moonlight And Valentino and The Leading Man. The latter was shot in London, which had a strong influence on Jon's second solo album that was released last year.

Destination Anywhere is dominated by ballads and the lyrics seem more personal. There are also more "electronic" sounds than before, which is not surprising since Dave Stewart (ex-Eurythmics) was a co-writer and co-producer of some of the songs. Jon

Richie Sambora recorded two songs for Christmas albums: Merry Axemas and Home For Holidays. He also longed for recording his own solo album. At the beginning it was even to be released before Jon's one, but finally Undiscovered Soul (it's the record's title) was only released in the end of 1997 in Japan and at the beginning of 1998 in the rest of the world.

European fans had to wait till the Spring of 1998 to listen to Richie's new tunes, but it was definitely worth waiting.

David Bryan is also going to release a new album (the third in his career after Netherworld's sound track from 1991 and solo On A Full Moon from 1994). There is a good possibility that before the end of this year we are going to hear some new Bon Jovi songs!!!

It's gonna be a good year, ain't it?
