Helikopteripalvelu Oy was established in 1960 and has taken part in various tasks in different parts of the world. We have been consigned to projects for example in the South Pole, the Spitzbergen, the Middle East and Greenland. During over 80000 flight hours we have done among other things following types of tasks:

  • Police air control and related duties
  • Helping rescue authorities
The medical helicopter has achieved already over 5000 emergency duties during its service time. There are over 1700 emergency call-outs each year.
  • High level staff transportation
  • Checking of the powerlines and gas pipes and heat-seeking camera facilities
  • Building of electricity networks
  • Flights for aiding agriculture and forest management
  • Flights for forest estimation
  • Photographic flights
  • All related training
