The Pihkala Manor
A high-standard holiday spot for the whole family, set in the heart of the most beatiful countryside areas in Finland. The manor offers accommodation of modern hotel standard while keeping the atmosphere of rural life. Your hosts are Kaija and Veijo Riikonen with their family and staff. Horses, dogs, cats etc. domestic animals are also an important part of rural life.The Pihkala Manor accommodates 20 persons to hotel standard. Each room has its own toilet, shower and television. There is also accommodation space in the romantic out-building, especially popular with horse riding and country camps. The estate also has conference and socialising rooms with sauna as well as a fully-licensed bar. The estate also includes a 20 horse stable, riding exercise hall and field.
Exotic experiences to be tried with the smoke sauna, riding adventure nature trail, swimming, fishing and canoeing trips. Christmas at the manor is an unforgettable experience.
The accommodation has been classed in accordance with national specifications for rural holiday facilities. The estate is located in the muncipality of Kestilä approximately 90 km from the town of Oulu and 270 km from the town of Jyväskylä. The village centre is 10 km away and the E4 road is only 14 km away. We have transfers from the airport of Oulu to the manor. The manor is well suited for family social occasions. There is also a horse and a cart for use.
