GOLDEN SNOW HOTEL

Our new sporty apartment hotel represents quality and environmental consideration never before seen in Lapland. Modern technical solutions. Environmentally friendliness in accordance with continuous demands. Cosiness with extreme comfort. Harmony with the surrounding nature. The golden snow hotel must be experienced.
We have equipped our apartments for comfort. A sauna which is always ready, a spacious bathroom. The one bedroom apartments have a separate bedroom with its own television. The kitchenette has all the necessary crockery and dishwasher. Each apartment has separate drying space for clothes and equipment. Full readiness for computer and telefax. In Olos you won┤t be cut off from the current affairs we have plenty of satellite channels.
The downstairs of the golden snow hotel has a 700 m2 activity hall. The hall is well air conditioned and divided into 10 separate departments. Apartments:
- 8 studio apartments (31 m2, 2 beds)
- 18 one-bedroom apartments (54-64 m2, 4 beds), each apartment has its own balcony or window with a view.

As soon as the first freezing temperatures come to the Olostunturi fell.
For 30 years Olympic skiers have practised at Olos. The conditions have changed. Each decade has brought with it a new hotel to Olos. The Golden Snow hotel will be open for the season of 1995. Come and experience!

Snow? YES!
Olos is located in one of Europe┤s coldest places. Winter lasts for eight months. Olos has the largest artificial snow system in Europe and professional snowers. We offer quality. Eight kilometres of ski tracks made with artificial snow. Six metres wide and half a metre thick, these ski tracks facilitate excellent conditions for classic and freestyle skiing. Even a thin layer of natural snow is enough to open up the 60 km of ski track network.

Ski track facts

Ski tracks conform with FIS conditions. Diverse tracks - hard climbs - long stages suitable for basic training, 40 km of "warmer" tracks
- the "warmer" ski track was invented in Olos in 1986, the newest is 8 km long and at a height of 350-450 metres.
- 30 km of illuminated ski tracks.
- 2 biathlon shooting places.

Excellent maintenance rooms
The Golden Snow Hotel has 700 m2 of air conditioned ski maintenance space. The hall can be divided into 10 separate parts, each with own air conditioning equipment.
