April 11, 1998... Here's a damn interesting scoop from one of CA anonymous readers. "I have seen Sony Pictures Entertainment projects-in-development synopses that has this one in it, guess the name of the actors listed there? --- Richard Gere and Denzel Washington.
"A number of Hollywood stars have taken a liking to this film and Nic Cage, who loved the Chow Yun-Fat role so much in the original, asked the make-up artist for a mustache in the opening scenes of Face/Off as his homage to that character. Go figure! This story was widely published in Asian media when John Woo made his tour last year for Face/Off."
