October 25, 1998... We've heard little bits and pieces about this SF project for a while now but not enough to justify its own page -- until today, that is. A scooper from out in the dark came in and reported this:
"James Cameron has just hired J.D.Zeik [Ronin] to do a page-one rewrite on a script called Real Time, based on a group of CIA agents who can stop time and walk around performing covert operations. Just read the spec draft by Brannon Braga and Joe Menosky. It stinks to high heaven, really amateurish stuff, which is where the page one rewrite comes in, I guess. But the word is that Cameron is obsessed with the new technology he can use to portray the world slowed down to a standstill."
Braga and Menosky are best-known for writing numerous episodes for Star Trek: The Next Generation and in fact are also producers of Star Trek: Voyager.
