Jason and the Argonauts

Genre: Adventure/Fantasy.

Studio: Dreamworks SKG.
Production Company: Digital Anvil/No Prisoners.

Project Phase: Development Hell.

Who's In It: No one confirmed as yet.
Who's Making It: Alan McElroy (Screenwriter).

Premise: Based on the ancient Greek myth, it's the story of Jason, who sets off with his crew to recover the legendary golden fleece. On the way they encounter many a fantastical stop-motion creature--oh, wait. That was the old one. Sorry.

Release Date: Summer 2000.

Comments: As stated in the premise, the original 1963 classic had really cool Harryhausen stop-motion monsters. Now, imagine if you will, today's technology bringing these same creatures to the screen...it has potential, no? Whether this is a new interp of the original myth or a direct remake remains to be seen.

Rumors: Unknown.
