Scoop Feedback:

[Page draft submitted by 'Deadpool'.]

September 24, 1998... Jeremy Jordan is also in the film. Jay Mohr and Scott Wolf play undercover cops trying to bust an ecstasy ring. There is reported to be bisexual overtones to this substory.

October 1, 1998... Looks like our last scooper was wrong: "What the hell are you talking about? Jay Mohr and Scott Wolf are budding soap opera stars who accidentally hit a pedestrian in the middle of the night and have to figure out what to do with the body. They are NOT cops. I saw a report on this on ET, and just assumed someone else caught this. They seemed really into playing naive, airhead wannabes, which would not lend their performances credibility as cops. AND, ecstacy was never mentioned." [Scoop provided by 'gollum']

October 7, 1998... Finally we get the truth: "Regarding the last two posts on 'Go', I saw it at a screening. Scott Wolf and Jay Mohr play two soap actors, who after getting busted with drugs, have to work undercover with the cop to bust an ecstacy dealer. After they finish their work, they get involved in a hit and run, only afterwards remembering that Scott still has the wire on him, and it may have all been recorded. Oh, and they're gay lovers. Really. It all sounds funny than it actually is." [Scoop provided by 'neebus2']

November 7, 1998... Another test screening review: "I just projected a test version of Go last night to an audience of Columbia Film Grads. The rough cut was a Beta copy taped right off the Avid. The flick is solid. It starts as a kind of Rave Culture serious anti drug film then twenty minutes in starts following another character (simon) in a sex and drugs spree in Las Vegas ending in a car chase from a father and son strip club owners. Jay and Scott don't show up until the third act as soap stars who got busted for possession and are being used as bait to catch the drug dealer who unbeknownst to him is the cause of the other two storylines. Jay and Scott end up being Gay lovers cheating each other with the same third guy. All three storylines wrap up by the end. Basically in its current form the film is finished, but the studio (columbia tristar) which did a negative pickup of the film and gave it the 8 mill budjet is trying to give it a happier ending and trying to change the opening credidts. Doug (the director/cameraman) has been fighting all the way on this and upcoming preview screenings ought to back him up. The studio wanted to getr rid of the vegas stuff altogether (that's half of the 100 minute film). The current version stays very loyal to the original script. All that really needs to be tweeked is the sound and music which already is amazing." [Scoop provided by 'Luthor']
