November 4, 1997... Some slips us a note that an actor named Jonathan Jackson (who is supposed to play 'Lucky' on General Hospital) has been signed to play Michelle Pfeiffer's son. Since our soaps knowledge is dangerously close to being non-existent, we'll play along with the scoop. [ Someone who works on the Universal lot hot their hands on a copy of the treatment. "Great vehicle for Pfieffer, though Treat William's character is secondary even to the supporting players. Looks like a rather high-minded picture for a mid-year release. [Anonymous.]

"I haven't read the book or the screenplay, but I can tell you that Treat Williams has been a presence on the set in Van Nuys, California. Pfeiffer's performance is earning rave reviews from the extras, some of whom have been working on this film since Halloween. Also, Brenda Strong ('Captain Deladier' of the 'Rodger Young' in Starship Troopers) is on board as part of the team looking for Pfeiffer's son." [Sent in by 'Kagemusha'.]
