December 1, 1998... John Cusack plays the role of the puppeteer and Diaz is his wife. Keener plays a love interest of both Malkovich and Cusack. Bean is Cusack's boss. In what's being touted as the casting coup of recent months, Malkovich will be playing himself. But think about it--who else would you cast? This marks Jonze's first feature film and camera reportedly began rolling in late July.
