I am also a Manager at McDonalds and the new KVCS staging will be starting here soon, What it is is like the old way of production. There is still going to be STAGING but in a diffrent way, there will be no food held in the holding bin and there will be no Q-ing in the future. Instead we will be going to "Cook to Order" methods.

To do this McDonalds has Developed new bun cabinets that are heated, the buns will have a shorter shelf life in the cabinet but will stay hot and fresh. The meat cabinet will be similar but have no doors on it and instead of usind Banana trays they will have 3 inch deep pans to hold the meat in. im not sure on the Chicken nuggets and filet section but i think it will stay the same but the product will have a shorter shelf life. I have been to one of these resturants and they are 100% better than the stores that still Q the product.
