Working @ McD's is good

I see that there is a village idiot who posts here under the alias RAY KROCK and similar names. I suggest to all on this list to ignore him, he will leave if he gets no attention. As for points brought up about McDonalds by him and others that dislike the job, dont knock it till you tried it. I for one love my job, you say too many hours, I am not getting enough, I want more, I am limited to 26 hours per week because I am under 18. I have made many friends there, I find all the managers to be kind and friendly and people you can turn to if you have problems, in and out of the workplace. As for benefits They range from free tickets to the movies to full vacations that I heard of people in my area recieving. Minimum wage , so what, you get promotions and recieve raises every 6 months or when you do something exceptional. And cleanliness, I will not sell food to people that has overrun it's timer, I sanatize my hands every 30 minutes, I wear gloves, cover cuts etc. We are a clean store, and dont ever say that we arent. So we get the occasional cut or burn, there are risks in every job, if you work for the power company isnt there a chance you can be electricuted? I think possibly other stores may have problems, but dont knock the whole franchise for one or two isolated incidents. I highly enjoy my job, I do it well, I strive to improve, and I serve with a SMILE because I am paid to, and I enjoy my job!
