Stop Bashin McD's

Hello Fellow McDonald's employees. I am a Crew Trainer in Canada, and I wanted to say that I think McDonalds is an excellent job for a teenager's first job. Thats' what I am in it for. I am in grade 11, and I plan to work at the local McD's until i graduate, to help me save up for college, and keep a bit of money in my pocket during school

Now, a lot of people on here whine, but lets get real. First of all, Sure, you have to work hard at McDonalds, and if that isn't the kind of job for you, don't work there. Also, sometimes you don't get a break, or you may be asked to come in when yer not scheudled, but thems the breaks in a part time job. Breaks, usually you only miss a 15 minute one, and you hardly have time to take a piss and wash your hands before you have to go back on!!

There are a lot of positive things about McDonalds too. Flexible hours for school, LOTS of people your own age to talk with, as well as GREAT references. Any future employer that sees McDonalds on your resume will definatly put you ahead of someone else, as they know, mcdonalds works your hard.

So lets get realistic here, and realize that McDonalds is the way it is, and its a stepping stone for the future,
