: I currently work at McDicks where the managers are losers and I (If working) in the front or Drive Thru, have to deal with morons....for example, on a Saturday during lunch-hour when the Drive Thru is wrapped around (the store) and some schmuk comes thru to order a small coke and gets upset when he has to wait so long....

: It is rarely the employee's fault (They work their asses off...if they stop working at any time the managers are down there back for slacking...although the managers just sit on there lazy asses all day...

: The damn place is a crock...the employees are probably the only thing good about the damn store...other than the money...

: Oh and by the way...just so everyone knows...as soon as a cusomer who is an asshole leaves...the whole store is insulting the sap.

: That's my two cents...

OK, so there are a few customers who are real dickheads. Well, I reckon that kind are few and far between. So after encountering a genuine blowhard, forget about it, and move on! I used to be a telemarketer before I got a better data processing job, and while most contacts were polite in both yes and not interested cases, some got quite belligerent. After finishing with the belligerent ones I just laughed it off to myself. One contact in California called me a goddam asshole for waking him up (in the middle of the afternoon) and kept on with ranting and raving. Before I hung up I meekly said "sorry I bothered you, sir! Goodbye have a nice day". I meant it it wasn't sarcasm, and I didn't allow my feelings to get hurt. Actually that long-distance slap felt good, because I began to have serious doubts about the product I was pitching judging from the unhappy contacts. Again I just laughed it off...it was funny.

But to get back on track to keep the moderators happy, forget the nasty customers, and appreciate the majority good ones. They are the ones keeping your employer in business, and they fully deserve your respect and gratitude. That's my two cents. Have a nice day.
