loyalty doesn't pay

I got called in to work tonight (again) and I said "NO". God it felt good, as normally they apply strong persuasion, i.e.begging, until you feel obliged to say yes. Well, I got the s**t blown out of me, because it says on the availability sheet that I'm normally available on Fridays. Why wasn't I ROSTERED then? God, I'm sick of McDonald's management treating us like dirt. I would quit if it were that easy, but I have a living to pay for and no one wants to hire unskilled Maccas workers.
