It's one small victory that opens up American workers' minds to the fact that the propaganda spewed forth by corporate media is just that. Propaganda. In democratic societies there isn't less propaganda, there is more but many don't see it that honestly anymore. That's the result of a process called the "Dumbing Down of America." Type that phrase into a search engine and do some research. It's good reading. The layoffs don't bother me because anybody who feels that the AFL-CIO is truly a workers' organization will believe the earth is flat.
