: UPS strikers have brought the largest courier company in the world to its knees and won all their major demands + pay rise. All workers are going back to work today. : What a fantastic example of workers power if they are united. Hope this success will set the trend amongst all workers who are unhappy with their conditions of work but have felt powerless to take action.

Yes indeed, it is a good time to celebrate and to also contemplate the future battles ahead of us and to not forget the ones who came before us in this ongoing battle against greed,slavery and ignorance.
Having been in the courier industry for a long time I feel that it was long overdue for a big strike in the USSA.I feel good for the rank and file but am quite uneasy about the people at the top of the labor organizations who operate more like guilds than unions. This leaves more room to debate about working peoples' rights and the next phase of the struggle will be to expose the excesses of these labor bosses and bring democracy into every workers' organisation.
