Abusive employee to other employees

On 7/28/97 I was in the McDonald's on W Jefferson St., Springfield, IL. While I was there the person whom I assume was a supervisor according to her behavior, Jan, berated the other employees behind the divider between the counter and kitchen. She did this in a loud voice with a very demeaning manner. It did not seem to bother her one bit that everyone in the facility could hear her and, in fact, seem to take a lot of pleasure in humiliating these other employees. I know that McDonalds has a policy of employing mentally challanged and older workers, but I could not see the other employees clearly, so I have no idea if they fell into this catagory. The other person with me filled out a complaint card while we were there and I have spent quite a bit of time trying to find an address either on or off line to file this complaint. This incident really started my day with a bad taste in my mouth and it was not due to the food I ate there. She was yelling at them for preparing too much food in advance, but it was sold while we sat there, in fact it was sold within 10 minutes after her verbal attack. The other front line employees ducked their heads and seemed to want to be disassociated from this person. Sue Sallee.
