#1. I didn't disgree with Sarah about the subject of employee scheduling.Besides, I get the feeling that there are more employee rights in Sweden and other such sundry spots in Europe than what I've experienced in this here neck of the woods. I can appreciate the merits of scheduling 2 weeks in advance. Thank you very much.

#2.Did I say McD's should heve something to do with somebody else's
lovelife? No I did not. But a little bit of consideration can go along way instead of forcing people into a situation whereby they are literally cogs in a machine.Again it sure sounds like Swedish management practices may be more enlightened than elsewheres if what you are saying is true.Perhaps McD's should adopt the Swedish model.

#3.Working is important .Of that I have no doubt. In a workplace the workers have rights. As a matter of fact workers have rights that you may not know about. One of those rights is a democratic workplace.
Not rap sessions.Good grief. What next?

But if you don't have democracy in the workplace I feel workers
should demand democracy. Is that too unreasonable? If sacrifices are to be made (like getting fired, made redundant, laid off, downsized and whatnot) for organizing then I think it's a cause worth fighting for.
After all nobody has to fuck anybody else over to make a living. So do I have to be fucked over by somebody else to make a living? That may sound like harsh wording but that is the main part of this question:

WHAT IS MORE IMPORTANT-HAVING A DEMOCRACY OR DICTATORSHIP ?
