: If the two of you had read any of my other postings you would see that I am just as anti-mcds as you are.

Are you really? Well it doesn't come across in your postings. By the way, you did't tell us what exactly you are researching and for whom? I wonder why.

: In fact one of my stories was pulled today because my editor thought that we might be sued.

Who is you editor and what was the story about? May be someone on McSpotlight can give you advice on how to publish it. This site with all its ant-McD info has not been sued yet, I don't know why your editor thinks you might be? I don't think McD will bother suing anybody for a long while after their recent experience.

: Insteed of just whinning about McDonalds, I happened to put forward some suggestions about how to make employees treated better, I decided to do something construtive.

It's very presumptuous of you to suggest nobody else is doing anything else but whinning except for you. As an active and objective journalist tell me what is the basis for this assumption. Do you really know what I or Quincunx do beside writing on this site? If you can't answer that then tyou have to accept Quincunx's criticism about ugly journalism.

Anyway, I am very surprised about your rude reaction as I never thought you were not doing anything. I just think you are naive about how transnational corporations operate.

:A company isn't going to change if they don't know what to change to. I know what you are going to say "McDonalds will never change".

No, what I am saying is that they don't want to change. They have been doing very well (until rcently at least) making a lot of profit on the back of their workers. So why change?

:But at least if we tell them to do this or that they may incorporate some new ideas.

Go ahead Sarah, don't let us stop you, tell them what you think and hope for the best. Who knows, you may even get somewhere.
