Besides your point about Coca-Cola's business dealings during WWll, I've read numerous articles about health risks from drinking soft drinks and consuming too much sugar or artificial sweeteners. In fact, some researchers seem to conclude that excess sugar can cause many of the same diseases that fat is being blamed for ( hardening of the arteries is one that comes to mind).

You bring up a very good point. Why aren't these other companies held to the same standard? Look down the list on this area and you'll find virtually no response to some of the postings.
