Now that Monsanto is slipping Roundup Ready Soybeans into the world market, it is time to begin holding the end buyers of these accountable for their use. One example, we have been using Isomil Soy Formula, made by Ross Pediatrics, a division of Abbott Laboratories of Columbus, Ohio.We would like to see them print a disclamer on their label stating that they use no genetically engineered soybeans that could have elevated levels of herbicide applied to them in the manufacture of their infant care products.
Until they do so we will boycott their products and urge every mother-to-be, midwife, nurse, pediatrician and parent that we come in contact with in Lamaze classes, doctor's offices, playgrounds etc. to do so as well.
This is the kind of simple, but highly effective, hands-on activism that we promote on our non-commercial overcoming consumerism web site. We invite participation and the contribution of good ideas to help fight the good fight.
