these aweful multinational corporations

Well, as a child, of course I went to McDonalds. I ate their stuff, I played with their free toys, and I frollicked in their network of crappy slides. Actually, a close friend of mine had a birthday party at McDonalds playland when she was five, so it evokes pleasant memories. But after reading all this, I am repulsed! I am sick of McDonald's, sick of anything related to "PepsiCo" (including the soft drink, KFC, Taco Bell, and Pizza Hutt), Wal Mart, just about any of these aweful multinational corporations. The food industry however, is the one which needs to be dealt with immediately. They are exploiting aimals, and I will not stand for that. I rarely eat meat now, and in the rare event that I do, I never patronize these establishments that exploit animals. People, think about where you get your milk from too. They exploit cows, chickens, etc. The best thing to do, is to patronize those who promise more freedom of movement with their animals. This is what God would want, I am sure of this. People, do not think of "bringing down" McDonalds either. This will probably happen on its own. As they lower prices of sandwiches, the owners of McDonald's franchises are feeling like little more than peons. Their new commercials, about "Your McDonalds" the commercials that commemorate the 1950's, and try to show a happier, gentler time, is enough evidence for me that they are rethinking their strategys, and realize what the people know about them. This defeat in Britian brought world wide attention, possibly more attention than these people would have gotten if McDonalds had left them alone. In fact, I found this websit through a CNN special report on their website. More power to small family run farms and businesses!
