Sarah, Sarah, Sarah!!! I don't wish plight on anybody!! I'm sorry that there are people in this world who have barely the shirt on their backs! But dammit it's not my fault or anyone else's!!!

Why should I just have what I need? Every human being desires at least a few luxury items. I'm no exception, and I don't think you are either, Miss High Horse!!! The fact that you have a computer and an internet account proves my point. I may not need that Quarter Pounder and Supersize fries, but there are times when I WANT it.

By the way I'm not rich, I don't have a fancy mansion or live in a deluxe apartment. My biggest luxury item to date is my new compact pickup truck. It does have fancy aluminum rims and tires, a rear window that opens, and the deluxe split bench that's almost like "captain's chairs". Sorry! A cheap third-world tin can just didn't appeal to me!!!

I do not have any animosity toward the young executives who live over in Plano, Far North Dallas, or nearby Colleyville. Having looked in some of those newly-built houses, I say they are damn nice! The way they treat their employees and other people is what I base my opinion of them on. And not all executives or managers are bastards. "Melrose Place" and "Dallas" does not represent the real world.

Furthermore, I try to do my part for those in need. $15 of my pay goes toward the United Way each month. That may not sound like much, but I'm only one person. Add that to the similar donations from my colleagues, and multiply the end result by 12. It adds up. Many of the McD franchise owners and other business entrepreneurs donate to non-profit organizations and participate in food drives. They do a much better job than any government program could.

What are YOU doing about this?
