: McDonalds is one of the largest employers in Australia, providing hundreds of thousands of jobs to young motivated people. You claim that McDonalds should be sued. FOR WHAT? You are obviously an uneducated, misinformed person who's vocabulary does not extend beyond the word f..k. It is the right of each individual to choose where he or she would like to dine and thus, it is up to each individual to make the choice as to whether they should eat at McDonalds or not.

you sound lke oliver hardy trying to convince stan laurel that your's is the right way to go - even though we all know the piano is going to topple back on top of them any moment.

this left aside, just at what point can a company that you so rightly pointed out is so large, be held responsible for its actions, policies decisions and practices? if we expand the criticisms and other companies similar to McD to counts of environemntal destruction, supporting repressive regimes etc are McD and other 'big companies' still unnaccountable - say they killed 100 foreigners would that be alright, but perhaps ten kids would be a bit much so we could have a bit of legislation there couldn't we? You seem all to ready to invest in 'the all new and wonderful 20th century product' The Company above the existence of the very community you must live among - it is also naive of you to assume that without McD your area would have greater unemployment or suffer in some way - there is no excuse to claiming that they are effectively above the law just because they hire workers.

: McDonalds cannot be made responsible for a persons lack of judgement as to what is healthy or what is not. From all observations of fast food restaurants McDonalds is the cleanest and healthiest. Inspections are carried each and everyday as to the quality of the food McDonalds. In conclusion, I'd like to say that you need to learn the facts before you send the ball rolling.

george - back to Day 1 of the transcripts for you I think - it's obvious that you read a few lines got bored and simply moved to the final page of the judgement.

Cars 'look' clean, efficient and effective yet they produce killer fumes, cause horrendous accidents, lead to environmental devestation - McD can get workers shining til the sun rises every day but it wouldn't stop the shit coming up through the floor (as happened in the UK's prizewinning store in Colchester not so long ago), nor would it have stopped 42 people developing e.coli poisoning in the States a few years back, nor the recent outbreak of poisoning froma new salmon burger in Denmark, nor the e.coli outbreak in Preston - and these are only the ones we know about! also there are the countless reports of 'bad food' at particular stores you can pick up on the net ... and most of this from McD fans!!! The level of support sorry, addiction goes as far as telling each other that particular stores are dangerous or not ... and not doing anything about it, instead go straight to the other nearest store!!! You're all mad, completely mad!!!
