I am extremely tough on my crew when it comes to sanitation

Hey Mike,

I agree that things are not always perfect at BK. Im not saying they are, Im saying that Im working in my location to make them that way. I worked as a crew member in 3 stores. Went into management at the third one and have been to work in management in 2 after that. The first two stores I worked at were in top condition. I suppose things get that way when there are no other jobs available. Im now working at a store where someone can walk out of my shift and have another job in 3 seconds flat. So while I want to make my crew happy I would rather make my customers happy. I would rather work a little harder to make someone have a smile on their face when they eat their fresh, hot food than have someone get pissed off and yell. However, if you the customer never tells me what's wrong I will have lots of you pissed off and not coming back to my restaurant. I am glad that McSpotlight is here though because it makes me think of other issues to deal with in my restaurant to satisy the customers. Through in-store/company policy, food safety classes, and McSpotlight I am extremely tough on my crew when it comes to sanitation. My point in saying this is that had things never been brought to my attention then I would never know what the problem was as I am not able to be everywhere in the restaurant at all times. So please, as stupid as this may sound, complain to the manager when you are not happy or satisfied.

: Well, Jules lately the Bedford BK has sort of varied in its quality of service and food. I've had at least 3 burgers there that were not as warm as they could have been. And I'm afraid that Ronald's fries top BK's, at least this location. Lately the fries have tended to have the texture a bit too close to leather.

: The cleanliness of the restroom has varied, and all too frequently the soap dispenser is empty. One time I tried to get them to fill it, and the young lady said she would look into it and then disappeared. I took my business to Burger Box that day.

: Some of the shifts also have the tendancy to fart around and bullshit, especially the Sunday shift. The supervisor asked one of them (referring to me) "Why is this guy still waiting on his food?" The burgers also tend to get sort of funky tasting. This late lapse has surprised me because I've always been able to count on excellent service and food before. If the service and food sucks again I will let the manager know. Again, this is more than just one "bad day".

: But Mickey D's seems to be doing a good job lately, at least here. They seem to be more reliable than BK as of late.
